Position Summary
This person will be responsible for translating business requirements into computer solutions.
This is accomplished by understanding the nature of the business need, developing an appropriate technical design that is
harmonious with existing solutions, coding, unit testing, and integration testing, documenting, and transitioning changes
into a production state. Solutions are advanced with a very high degree of complexity and may be new or enhancements to
existing solutions. This Programmer will be responsible for developing the plan, estimates and oversee the execution of the
task required to meet project requirements. This person will contribute to architectural designs, including SAP BW 3.0
experience. Responsibilities also include production support of existing solutions including problem determination,
potentially developing a work around for the problem, developing a solution, and implementing the solution. In addition, this
Programmer is expected regularly to proactively offer suggestions to improve Information Services processes as well as
business process improvements. They will mentor less experienced members of the team.
